You stop avoiding your LinkedIn profile. You actually feel confident sending that headshot to the conference organizer or including it in your email signature.
That outdated photo from five years ago—the one that doesn’t look like you anymore—finally gets replaced. Your team’s website suddenly looks cohesive instead of like a patchwork of smartphone selfies and vacation photos cropped into squares.
Here’s what most people don’t realize until after their session: a professional portrait isn’t just about looking good. It’s about looking like someone people want to work with. Someone credible. Someone who takes their business seriously enough to invest in how they’re seen.
We’ve been photographing business professionals, executives, and corporate teams since 1974. That’s 50 years of understanding lighting, composition, and how to make people comfortable in front of a camera.
We’ve worked with ad agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and Houston-area businesses across oil and gas, healthcare, legal, and real estate industries. Brooks Institute graduate. ASMP member since 1979. Former instructor at The Art Institute of Houston for 21 years.
Morgan’s Point and the greater Houston metro area have access to a photographer who’s seen every industry shift, every technology change, and still shows up ready to solve problems. Not because of some sales pitch, but because the work speaks for itself.
First, we talk. Not about cameras or lighting—about what you need these images to do for you. LinkedIn? Company website? Marketing materials? That context shapes everything.
Then we schedule your session, either at the studio or on-location at your office. Most corporate headshot sessions take 20-30 minutes per person. Team photography depends on group size, but the goal is always efficiency without rushing.
During the shoot, you’re guided through posing and expression. No awkward “just act natural” moments. You’re told exactly what to do, which eliminates the guesswork and the discomfort most people feel during photos.
After the session, you review images and select your favorites. Retouching is handled professionally—you look like yourself, just polished. Turnaround is quick because business moves fast and you need those images now, not three weeks from now.
Ready to get started?
You get professional lighting setups that actually make you look like a human being, not a deer in headlights. Studio or on-location options depending on what works for your schedule and your team’s needs.
For Houston-area professionals, that flexibility matters. Executives don’t always have time to drive across town. Bringing the session to your office means your entire leadership team can knock out headshots in an afternoon without disrupting the workday.
You also get direction during the session. Most people freeze up in front of a camera because they don’t know what to do with their hands, where to look, or how to stand. You’re coached through all of it, which is the difference between stiff, uncomfortable photos and images that actually represent you well.
Retouching is standard. Not the kind that makes you unrecognizable, but the kind that removes distractions and ensures you look polished and professional. Digital files are delivered in formats ready for web, print, or whatever platform you’re using. No surprises, no upsells, no hidden fees.
Individual headshot sessions typically take 20-30 minutes. That includes setup, shooting multiple looks or backgrounds if needed, and reviewing images on the spot.
Team photography sessions depend on how many people you’re photographing. A team of five might take an hour. A team of twenty might take half a day. The goal is always to move efficiently without making anyone feel rushed or uncomfortable.
If you’re scheduling a corporate session at your office, plan for a little extra time on the front end for equipment setup. Once everything’s dialed in, though, the actual photography moves quickly. Most professionals are surprised by how fast it goes—and how painless the process is compared to what they expected.
Wear what you’d wear to an important client meeting. If that’s a suit, wear a suit. If your industry is more casual and you’re typically in a button-down without a tie, that works too.
Solid colors photograph better than busy patterns. Avoid bright whites or stark blacks if possible—they can create lighting challenges. Subtle patterns are fine, but large prints or loud designs tend to distract from your face, which is the whole point of the portrait.
If you’re getting team photos done, coordinate with your group so everyone’s on the same level of formality. Nothing looks worse on a website than three people in suits next to two people in polo shirts. You don’t have to match exactly, but you want visual consistency across the team.
All delivered images include professional retouching. That means color correction, exposure adjustments, and removal of temporary distractions like blemishes or stray hairs.
What it doesn’t mean is airbrushing you into a different person. The goal is to make you look like yourself on your best day—not like a magazine cover that’s been edited into oblivion. Clients want to recognize you when they meet you in person.
If you have specific requests—removing a glare on glasses, adjusting a collar, anything like that—those are handled during the review process. You’re not stuck with whatever comes out of the camera. But the baseline retouching is already built in, so you’re not receiving unpolished images and wondering what to do with them.
Both options are available. Studio sessions work well for individuals or small groups who want a controlled environment with multiple background options.
On-location sessions at your office are often more practical for larger teams or executives with tight schedules. Bringing the equipment to you means your people can knock out their headshots between meetings without losing half a day to travel.
The quality is the same either way. Portable lighting setups are professional-grade, and the results are identical to what you’d get in a studio. The decision usually comes down to convenience and how many people you’re photographing. For teams of more than five, on-location almost always makes more sense.
Turnaround depends on the scope of the project, but most individual headshot sessions are delivered within a few business days. Larger corporate shoots with multiple team members might take a week.
Rush delivery is available if you’re on a tight deadline—say, you need a headshot for a conference next week or your company’s launching a new website. Just communicate that upfront so expectations are clear.
You’ll receive digital files in high resolution, formatted for both web and print use. No waiting for prints to arrive in the mail unless you specifically request them. Most business clients just need the digital files to upload to LinkedIn, their website, or their marketing materials, and those are delivered electronically as soon as they’re ready.
Most people are. That’s normal, and it’s expected. You’re not a professional model—you’re a business professional who needs a good headshot.
The session is structured to eliminate that discomfort. You’re given specific direction on posing, where to look, and how to position yourself. There’s no awkward “just be natural” instruction that leaves you standing there wondering what to do with your hands.
Fifty years of photographing professionals means there’s a system in place for making people comfortable. You’re not the first person to feel awkward, and the process accounts for that. Most clients are surprised by how quickly they relax once the session starts—and even more surprised when they see the results and realize they don’t look as uncomfortable as they felt.
